The simplest avatar of Mini Remin got a plate antenna embedded in
the cover lid. No external sticks, and it can be played open or even
closed!

simplicity...

Buy a 8 euros transistor radio. Open it. Insert carefully a Mini Remin
board. Preserve FM section, audio amplifier, etc. The result: by
switching the 'band' to 'FM', you get music and news as usual, but ...
... by choosing 'AM', a really portable Theremin is ready to play.
